Bobbie brings to OWL a strong background in membership organizations, including faith-based groups, political campaigns and in the health care and mental health arena. She is an experienced issue advocate who led efforts to reform voting systems and improve election procedures for a leading national voting integrity organization and has extensive experience working with the US Senate, US House and executive branch. Further important to OWL is Bobbie’s background in program development and fundraising. Her successes include developing a strategic plan to raise more than $10 million to build a new School of Nursing at the University of Miami and raised nearly $1 million to support a combined counseling and recreational youth program for victims of Hurricane Andrew. Her ability to develop relationships and build support for OWL projects and initiatives will be a tremendous resource.
